A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and a 24-year Navy veteran, Jim is a Naval Scientist, Aeronautical Engineer, an aircraft-carrier-qualified Navy pilot, has an MBA in Financial Management, served six years as vice-president of a high-tech computer services company, owned five successful small businesses (which depended upon aggressive, innovative marketing to survive for 11 years), and was a math professor at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, Md.  He and his wife now reside in Lewes, Delaware, where they enjoy the beaches, state parks, NO sales tax, very low property and state income taxes, breaks on taxes for seniors, and the extensive local cultural opportunities.
