Judy Eger always dreamed of living near the ocean, and in 2005 she moved from her home of 35 years in Northern Virginia to Lewes. Originally from Massachusetts, she also lived in the Chicago area and Stamford, Conn., before easing into the slower pace of life in Sussex County.

 

She has been a licensed agent since 1991 and a licensed broker since 1998; she was awarded her Graduate, REALTOR Institute status in 1996. Her successful real-estate career in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., was fast-paced and satisfying. But in Lewes she is able to concentrate on the other activities that she enjoys: a Master Gardener, she has a small garden business; she is a member of the Sussex County Archeology Society of Delaware; and she is a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Vestry. She also loves the area’s beautiful beaches and Cape Henlopen State Park.

 

Eger’s varied professional and volunteer positions have one thing in common: she likes putting people together. Being open to new friendships and new ideas means meeting interesting people and learning. All of these things contribute to her being able to match buyers and sellers successfully.
