Julia Walls
Julia Walls, who is originally from Morgantown, West Va., received her degree in History from Wesley College in Dover. Her subsequent museum jobs involved working with the public, which she enjoyed. Then she worked for three years at The Peninsula as an administrative assistant.
Her exposure to the rental process there interested her and prompted her to complete the 99-hour Real Estate Pre-Licensing Course in the autumn of 2009 and receive her license in December.
“I have found my niche, which is working with people and helping them – it’s very rewarding,” Walls said. “Currently I’m familiarizing myself with the many rental homes coordinated through the Lewes office. I want to be conversant with what each home offers so that I can easily match guests with homes.”
She and her husband, Joe, who is a physical education instructor with the Indian River School District, live in Georgetown. In their free time, they love to go to the beach, spend time with friends and family, and read.
