Dewey Beach - "A Way of Life"

The sport of skimboarding practically originated in Dewey Beach, and is now host of the annual East Coast Skimboarding Championships every August.
Dewey Beach has something for everyone. During the week, Dewey Beach is a tranquil retreat. On weekends, Dewey Beach transforms into one of the best social scenes on the east Coast, attracting a dedicated following from Delaware, Baltimore and the DC metro area.
In the past few years, Dewey Beach has enjoyed more activity in the "shoulder seasons" with the fabulous Dewey Beach Music Conference in September, Greyhounds Reach the Beach in October, and many other events throughout the year.
