Beachfront and adjacent to the Primehook Wildlife Refuge, this gracious house truly is a respite form daily city life. Outside, two miles of nearly deserted beach invites strolling and the Bay is calm enough for young swimmers to frolic at will. An outdoor shower will refresh you at the end of the day. For early risers, sunrise yoga on the east facing upper deck, where there is always a breeze, is glorious. On the screened porch, enjoy cocktails as you grill, grab a nap in the hammocks, or challenge the kids to a game of ping pong or pool. Rocking chairs under cover on the Great Room deck allow you to enjoy a good book in the shade. Adirondack Chairs on the master bedroom deck are a perfect spot for a morning cup of coffee. Inside, all rooms have water views. Flop on one of the many sofas or oversized chairs in the Great Room. A separate TV room provides flat screened entertainment, preserving the Great Room with its wood burning fireplace for quieter pursuits. While the computer desk with wi-fi, allows a working weekend when necessary, we hope the file of our recommended birding, fishing, sight seeing and sporting activities, as well as favorite local eateries will entice you to close down your lap top. After a trip to the Lewes Farmers Market, pull up a stool at the island to chat with the chef as dinner is being prepared. The well-stocked kitchen, including two sinks and a gas stove, makes cooking a pleasure. In the cupboards, youll find much more than just the basics. Two Cuisinarts, a blender, mixer, lobster pot, copious utensils, lovely ceramic serving platters and even an electric kettle are at your fingertips. The five bedrooms are stocked with both down and hypo allergenic pillows and comforters.
