If you are traveling with a pet, we have several rental properties that welcome pets. All of our pet properties require a non-refundable pet fee, which is due with the balance payment. The amount of the pet fee varies from home to home, but generally ranges from $150.00 - $300.00. Please note the special terms for pets on your residential license agreement.
Please note the following Delaware Beach Rules for Dogs
It is illegal for dogs to run at large at any time. The Cities of Dewey, Lewes and Rehoboth all have a leash law and a pooper scooper law which are enforced. Dogs are allowed in the State Parks, so you may want to visit Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes or the Delaware Seashore State Park , south of Dewey Beach.
Dewey Beach: Dogs are allowed on the beach year-round, but there are limitations during the summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. During summer months, dogs are prohibited from the beach between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm. Dogs do not have to be leashed, but owners must clean up after their pets. Additionally, owners must procure a Dewey Beach Dog License.
Lewes: Dogs are allowed on the beach at any time of the year except May 1 – September 30. During the summer months, dogs are prohibited from Lewes Beach between 8:00 am and 6:30 pm. They must be on a leash and owners must clean up after them.
Rehoboth Beach: Dogs are prohibited from the Rehoboth beach and boardwalk at all times from April 1 – October 31. Off season, dogs are allowed at any time, but must be leashed and owners must clean up after them.
State Parks: Dogs are not allowed on beaches marked for swimming or surfing. They are allowed in areas designated for surf fishing vehicles. Dogs must be leashed and owners must clean up after them.
