About the Pet Deposit

Should one of our owners allow pets in their property, there will be an additional Pet Deposit, over and above the standard Security Deposit. Refundable pet deposits are required upon lease commencement and amounts can vary but cannot exceed one month’s rent.

Rental Stipulations

Owners reserve the right to limit or restrict the number or types of pets that are allowed. Frequently, the lease stipulates that the tenant must provide a professional carpet cleaning and possibly a flea/tick extermination (if deemed necessary) upon lease termination. If there are pet damages to the property, the pet deposit (as well as the security deposit) will be used to repair or replace damaged property.

Fee Variances

If you are traveling with a pet, we have several rental properties that welcome pets.  All of our pet properties require a pet fee, which is due with the balance payment.  The amount of the pet fee varies from home to home, but generally ranges from $150.00 - $300.00.  Please note the special terms for pets on your residential license agreement.
